waiting for the antibiotics to work.

好累...

還有好多野做...

HKU Graduation day

So...I received the congratulations from my friend because of the last entry...lol the one-page document in the last entry is not offer...it is the proof of work during the summer...thanks for the goodwill though.

Today is a hectic Wednesday. Went to HMG2010, did FIN3088 homework  (not very well done to be honest..)

After talking with Yin yesterday, I promised to contact the Social Enterprise Centre in CUHK for her. Surprise - by this I connected with an old friend and realised that she is actually working a lot for Social Enterprise (SE). So we had a good chat about us and SE...much better than the awkward hi-bye we had in Mong Kok a few months ago.

Another highlight - my dear friend's graduation ceremony in HKU. Went to takegraduation photos with her and her family. Great night with this N-year friend and the whole family, of coz I went along with my mum. Happy for you and looking forward to mine! lol

fortnight entry

So...everyday I sit in front of the computer but I seldom come up to type an entry..
actually I do check xanga everyday ...or every few hours.

Most of us know that Xanga is having less flow, yet those who stay do write, I really should be one of them!

Today I went back to IFC 30/F, I was a bit scared at first, not knowing as what identity I should go there, when I know that my dearest HR would surely stay with me for some time despite she only need to give me the one-page simple document. She never never left me unattended.

So very nervously, I had a good chat with her and reception staff, and when I was leaving I met Li, who is one of the associate consultants, a bit shock to learn that she is leaving, but not really a very surprising issue in this kind of firm. So we 2 stood there and updated each other. Then my nice supervisor came and then many more people came. They were all eager to know how I am doing and are really nice to come for a short chat.

"It just feels home to be back" This is what echos in my head all through the night.

After the summer, I have been raising questions like "So how's the training and coaching culture like in your company?" In a way I have been spoiled by this company(esp. its HK branch) that it seems that teaching would come to you actively. No, nowhere is like that, not even this company this HK branch. One needs to be proactive, one needs to handle his work and has time to learn.

Words are great and execution is what matters. Just do it Cheung.

Recently a sentence often pops up in my head "Changes won't fall on your head when you wake up"

Steps must be taken.

---------------------------------
Had mid term of my perspective in clinical science today, the results clearly demonstrate how I am not satisfied with the resources I put into study in this semester....

At the same time...feeling really grateful that I had the chance to study without much worry in the past two years...

Job search + study = job search, then, study.

Went to Sham Shui Po to be a HK guide today for Vivian who worked with me during the summer, kind of my first time experience of truly being a host despite the fact that I did have visitors pretty often. Quite fun and now is time to prepare for my one-hour discussion tomorrow!
